Every now and then a movie comes along that takes you completely by surprise and you can not help but tell your friends to go see it as quick as possible without actually telling them what they are getting into. Keep it simple. Just say it’s a beautiful movie made at a grass roots level that combines zombies, filmmaking, and a 26 minute one take shot.
This movie is sitting in the videostore as we speak but I am happy to announce that my good friends at the METRO CINEMA will be screening it not once but twice! On Friday, Sept. 27th at 7pm and Tuesday, Oct 1st at 9:30pm!
At it’s basic plot the movie is described as the following.. ” Things go badly for a hack director and film crew shooting a low budget zombie movie in an abandoned WWII Japanese facility, when they are attacked by real zombies. ” Honestly, go into it with that info and you are good.
After seeing hundreds of zombie flicks you would think every idea has been taken but after watching this movie I stand corrected again. I really just want you all to go experience a movie which I personally adore. If you have ever struggled with your friends in making a indie movie then you will appreciate this film. You do not need a massive budget to make a great and entertaining film. You just need passion, a no quit attitude, and people that will stay with you till the end no matter how insane everyone becomes.
SO ONCE AGAIN METRO CINEMA WILL BE SCREENING ONE CUT OF THE DEAD ON….
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th AT 7PM and TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1ST at 9:30.
For the love of filmmaking this flick will win you over by the end.
